Tuesday, August 05, 2008 @ 8:22 pm KLWMBC! Preliminary: BRONZE. Finals: SILVERR. Champion: Wat Rajabopit Marching Band. They're awesomefully cool and ...(ahem) Hotel: Seri Cempaka Service Suites Hotelroom: 13A32(So weird this hotel, levels 4 and 14 are 3A and 13A -_- Do they know that 4 exists?) Roommate: JINGXI (: Overall, Great hotelroom. Pathetic lobby(sorry). Average transportation. Vague description of days: Day 1 Took bus and arrived in time at KL. Stopover bought food. Then rest and had lunch which was okay. Rice and chicken, but its not chicken rice. Idk why. Then changed to full-band uniform and fall-in at lobby. Bus was truper late. Had dinner first: Rice and tomyam.(not bad too) Then finally went street parade. FIREWORKS, so cool :O Bus ride back was late again. Urgh. Slept. Day 2 WOKE UP LATE. I swore to myself I wouldnt do this. Damn. Breakfast buffet. Ate 3 pathetic sausages-.- Fall-in then went over to Stadium Merdeka for rehearsal slot then walked to VI. The field is uber big. I bet you only need to run 1/2 a round if we did 2.4 there. Met some other bands. So cool. Sucha eye-opener. Went back hotel. Had lunch(Cup noodles) and played at J's room. So tired. changed to full-u and fall-in at 5, before leaving for performance. Dinner-ed at VI. Reached hotel at 1AM. Results: BRONZE. Day 3 I woke up at 5.30. Hah, in your faces. I lagged and lagged then went down for breakfast. Went over to VI again to practice then went back to hotel to rest and sectional lunch(shh). Kinda bond-ed a little. Same routine again as ytd. Had dinner at VI. Then went over to Stadium for last performance. Many cried. Aft the show, hanged around with th Denmark band next to us: FUN :D The jokes were all so funny. Hah. RESULTS: SILVERRRRRR. When our band wasnt called for bronze, I seriously thought we had gotten COP. The whole band was so delighted when we were called for silver. Aft results, took random pictures with the band, other bands and random people. Then there was FIREWORKS!! Super nice. Nicer than any than I've seen. NICER THAN NDP! Then bus-ed back to hotel. Hotel: 1.30AM! Omg. Day 4 Woke up early again this time. Went for breakfast and then packed and fall-in at lobby. Left SCSS and KL and took buses back to Singapore.
